What time should I arrive on Sunday?
Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, anytime after is perfectly fine! (Note that dinner & murder mystery starts at 6PM.)
Do I need to stay at the lodge, or can I stay somewhere else?
We would love to have you stay with us (plus it's free), but let us know if you want to book your own hotel elsewhere!
Will meals be provided during the retreat?
We’ll be providing a welcome dinner, the reception dinner on Tuesday, a farewell brunch, and light breakfast items and snacks. Other meals will be up to you.
What will the weather be like around Mt. Shasta in October?
October in McCloud averages highs of 67°F and lows of 42°F, with 4 rain days in the month. However, the spread is very high, getting up to highs of low-80s, so we advise checking the weather before the trip. Some hikes will be at higher elevation and colder, so pack in layers if you're interested!
Can I bring a plus-one or a friend?
We included plus-ones by name on the save-the-dates. If something has changed or you want to ask about bringing someone, please reach out to us.
Are the Monday activities optional?
Yes, pick and choose what you want to do!
Is there a dress code for the ceremony or the rest of the retreat?
Please dress comfortably for the retreat overall, even pajamas and a T-shirt are totally fine. For the ceremony, we’d love cocktail attire, and the ceremony will be outdoors.
What if I can only attend part of the retreat?
No worries! We completely understand and are still happy to have you. Please let us know in the RSVP form.
Will there be transportation coordination or ride sharing?
If needed, we can help coordinate transportation, and there will be a place to let us know on the RSVP form :)
